Whats a good basketball to buy?

What would be a good choice in basketballs? Is for my son and I he goes to basketball camp and plays in the gym but I need something that is as good in the park.

Spalding.  Hands down.  Just the durablity and the grip and it lasts longer than any other ball.  I would go get a basketball with him if possible, so he can feel the ball to see if it's too large or not for him.

The spalding TF-1000, their pricey b-balls but they are the bomb on the court!

The best indoor ball is the Wilson Evoloution. Amazing ball. But Spalding has the more outdoor balls and the official ball used in the NBA.

I use the Spalding Indoor/Outdoor "Grip Control" basketball.

I only use it indoors because the outdoor parks tend to wear the grip off most non-rubber basketballs. The grip control has good grip but not too much. I like it because it doesn't slip out of my hands.
