  1. Probably something like a Cockatiel, Conure(Green Cheeks are sweet birds), or a Senegal.

  2. I would say a parakeet they are pretty easy to take care of and they are not very noisy like some birds.

  3. A cockatiel will be better company for you. and give you kisses too if you make sure you get one who is hand tamed upon viewing it.

  4. 7-9 hours a week or a day, if its a week, you dont have time for any living animal.

If its a day then you can get any. For a starter bird I suggest a cockatiel.  If you want a quiet one get a female, If you want a singer get a male.  These are great for first time bird owners. And they will get very attached, just make sure you get a hand fed one.  Do some shopping around, dont pick the first bird you see.  Their really are some sweethearts out there!

  5. There are tons of birds out there...  Your finances can dictate what your options are...  But here are some options - Love birds, cockatiels, grassland parakeets (Ring-neck parakeet, Alexandrine Parakeet), Quaker parakeet, African Grey, Parotlett, Macaws, just to name a few...  These guys are relatively easy to care for and have a lot of personality.  Do some web research is you want to see more.  You can also check on www.petfinder.com to see if they have any birds up for adoption in your area.  I hope this is helpful information.

  6. I suggest cockatiel, green cheek, or Senegal

  7. canary

  8. budgie

  9. What is your price range?

Have you thought about maybe a single lovebird or a parrotlet?

The are more affectionate than something like a parakeet, and they're not as typical as the average cockatiel.

Lovebirds are often similiar in price, parrotlets can be up to $200 depending on where you get them.

  10. cockatiel

  11. a Cockatiel is a good choice for first birds, they can be loud at time but are very lovable animals to have, if treated corectly.

not a very exspensive bird to feed and care for as larger birds are.
