Kodak Digital cameras are the best - i got mine from target - lasted ages and is really easy to use - some are cheaper than others but all are pretty funky looking and up to date software

I really like Nikon, and Canon. Bestbuy was good for me to get my camera, but since bestbuy didnt have package deals I got mine at costco. Go to bestbuy if you are new to digital cameras.. They can help.

I'm a pro photographer and the choices are extensive...

My wife and I have used Pentax, Nikon, Cannon, Samsung, Kodak, and Even HP...

So far, for easy of use, the Kodak are great products. But lately they have eliminated the viewfinder and have gone with larger rear screens. These don't work well at all in bright sunlight...

The Canon is a great all around Digital with good visibility in any light, and great results. You don't need 8+ Megapixal cameras for every day and light pro work. 5 to 7 Meg is perfect.

The HP brands work quite well also, I've used them in both extreme cold and hot desert climates and they're great little camera's for the money.

My personal choice though is the Canon for all around use. Then the Nikon for pro work...

Canon for sure!. The are amazing cameras and they won't let you down and you can get it for under $200. My whole family has canon cameras and no one has any complaints about them. A good place to buy a camera is a future shop if you have one near you but if not then you know a walmart or zellars are just as good. Its the same camera no matter where you buy it

Get an idea of value based on ebay.  Then, buy it off craigslist, you could try it first that way.

My husband got me a really good cam from best buy.  if is a kodak easy share c 613.  it is awesome i love it.  it takes pics or short videos.  you can also buy a portable printer and connect it and print or you can connect to your pc and download them.  it has room for a memory card that you can take out and take to a film machine if you want to develop them that way too.  you can burn pics to cd or burn movie to cd too .  i cant remember the price but you go to the best buy web site and put in kodak easy share c613 in the search.  or just go to best buy and look at one.
