  1. Gotty Opera

  2. You can trust Rilifan, he knows Paris very well, maybe better than french people ;)

And you won't be deceived by this district "Quartier Latin", young and animated.

  3. I could give you specific hotels but it's better if you choose yourself based on what you mean by budget. Here is a website with budget hotels: http://www.eurocheapo.com/paris-hotels-b...

Select "under 75 euros" and areas Châtelet, Latin Quarter and St-Germain des Prés. Bastille (not a favorite district of mine though) also has a lot of bars but it might be listed under Marais as the eastern part of the Marais is near Bastille.

  4. You can search and choose hotel information, rates and availability for free in over 200 countries world wide at my profile.

  5. My Favorite the Hotel St. Andre des Artes is a good choice. Its in the 6th arrondissement just over the boundry with the 5th. The area is filled with pleasant bars, restaurants and cafes. You can see more of the hotel at this website: http://www.123france.com/en/0/hotel-sain...

Right across the street is Le Mazet where Jim Morrison had his last drink. Corcoran's Irish Pub down the block is especially convivial and the Pub St. Germain around the corner claims to serve more brands of beer than any other place in paris. Here's a little video of the Cafe Conti which is at the end of the block. It will give you and idea of the neighborhood ambience: http://www.paris-zoom.com/video/259/Le-C...
