I'm tryna factor in everything, like good gyms, weather, courts and being able to get to places easily(transportation). Plus i'm looking for a city where its easy to find a full time job that pays enough for a living and doesnt require a college degree

  1. You could move to Kenya. They have thinner air then us. That's why Kenyans are such good runners.

  2. Denver, CO

The high altitudes are better for training

  3. I would definitely recommend Boulder, CO. tons of world class athletes train here (like Olympic marathon runner Alan Culpepper) The higher altitude is great for training. It is a college town, so there are lots of job opportunities that don't require a college degree.

Also there are lots of races and triathlons through-out the year, such as the Boulder Peak Triathlon, and the Bolder Boulder (which includes many different levels or racers, from middle schoolers to world class runners who travel from Mexico, Europe and Ethiopia etc. to race here)

There are a number of great gyms, from upscale fitness centers to less expensive gyms that cater to the college students.

There is great public transportation, the RTD buses cover practically ever street in Boulder since not all of the college students have cars and need to get around.

  4. Fullerton, CA
