Whats a good color to paint my bath room?

Question

it hasn't been painted in 10 years, right now it is sponge painted blue and has a ducky theme. im a teenager now so i wanted something a little prettier but i have no idea what i want.

i have to share it with my brother, but he is graduating this year, so it wont really matter if it is too girly or not.

play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. I think "mysterious mauve" (# 6262) would be a great color for the bathroom. Very relaxing & serene.

I would paint the walls a light aqua color and use tan bath mats.  White fluffy towels along with white accessories like a toothbrush holder, soap dispenser, wastebasket and a valance(if you have a window) would coordinate in your room beautifully.  Three colors are what is recommended to use in a room.  Good luck on your decorating project!!!

Go to the library or bookstore and look at decorating magazines.  You'll find plenty of inspiration.  

If you wear make-up, go with a light color such as a pale pink.  It gives you a better idea of what you will look like under natural light.
