  1. you want the very basic? try Pascal, C and COBOL

depends on what you want to accomplish:

    websites - HTML

    website data - Perl

    database - SQL Server

    application - .NET

games and animation (web and mobile phones) - Java

  2. You can start learning C++ with these video tutorials:

They are perfect for beginners. This one can get you started by showing you how to install a free compiler:

Here are some simple games with code downloads that you can use to get some ideas:

These tutorials can get you started with graphics programming in OpenGL:

You can go through the tutorials and if you have questions on them or anything else in C++, please post to me here:

    Best of luck!

  3. java is a great beginner programing tool. i think there is a tool called something like java builder on the internet.

  4. depends if you want to go web based, windows based or cross platform - but python is good as is VB6, javascript is not bad for teaching real programming. Personally I stick to C# but there is lots of over complicated tutorials on the net

  5. Python ftw! Perl is OK but I don't recommend it.

After Python try Java or C#.

  6. Don't start with Visual Basic; it will create bad habits.  I started with HTML and Python.  I then moved on to JavaScript.  Next, I'm going for Perl and C#.

    The more the merrier!

    Hope this helped!

btw: I learned some very basic Basic by programming my TI-83+ calculator. It was my first exposure to programming.

  7. microsoft word

  8. Visual Basic.  Microsoft Word is not a programming language but is a word processing package.

  9. At my school, they taught us to use Visual Basic to begin with.  Any good object-oriented language that you can get packaged in a "studio" application will work.  It will be easy to learn and will teach you the basic building blocks that you need to know to start expanding your knowledge into more complicated coding projects.  Of course, unless you are attending a course that provides the software package for free, you will want to go with free, open-source, like some of the ones you mentioned, or Java.  Go get a book on your chosen language and it will start you will the basics and then build up from there.  It will take some time and dedication to actually learn sophisticated programming skills though.  Good luck.

  10. Java

  11. html

  12. Batch Programming, Its Great Fun, Its Not Very... Uhhh... Artistic Like HTML Or Java But Its A Great Language To Learn And Quite Easy, I Love It !
