I fall from the sky each and every year.
When there’s a lot, many kids cheer!
I may melt quickly, but I do bring joy.
To the little little kids, I am a toy.
Build tunnels, angels, even snowmen.
I am great, whether you’re three, seven, five, or ten!
My white color glistens in the sun.
In simpler terms, I am full of fun.
Because of me, kids get a break from school.
What else do you think freezes your pool?
When there’s plenty, children wear scarves and boots.
I make it harder to commute.
I stick to cars, roads, even the trees.
During this time, the neighborhood is full of disease.
I add to the Christmas cheer.
Which occurs towards the end of the year.
Adults shovel me when there is a lot.
You can’t see an empty spot.
