Whats a good decorating idea for a modern teen age girls room?

i want something new and intresting... maybe with a black and white scheme? i was thinking like newspaper articles with some bright colored magaziene adds or something for the wall. if you have ANY other intresting idea (maybe with pic links?) let me know. im up for anything.

Black and white would be cute.

I like the newspaper thing, but maybe on one wall or closet, and possibly paint over it a little so you can't completely see it.

It's expensive but you can get good ideas and replicate them for a lot less.

For cute things to put in your room or on the wall check Target.

Also, neon colors look good with black and white if you mix them the right way.

Oh and maybe lightly spray paint your window blinds with black.

Depending on if it's a boy or girl.  Clean lines and retro are a great look.

What about painting you walls like news papers and have like red or some colour circliong or crossing out articles and want add and suuch or what about painting you walls like green on the top then in the middle yellow and then the bottom green or just do one colour you love and maybe doing some stencle drawings on it in a nother colour like this:

i think your idea is interesting, but you should do that for the ceiling. i always find that red looks best with black and white, so maybe you would want to add some red to make it interesting, or a different color. be artistic with your walls with paint with a design. have fun and do what you feel looks best, its your room!

I wouldn't do black and white. It was popular, but now it is boring. I think the newspaper idea would look cool, but only for one wall. Or use newspaper for a border.

Black and white would defnitely be cool. But add a little color like aqua, teal, or hot pink. Black and white could be the bedspread and furniture. Add pictures, pillows and rugs in bright colors.
