Question:

Whats a good diet for me?

I'm underweight and i need to gain about 30 pounds to be a normal weight. I don't eat meat so its hard to find things to eat with the right stuff my body needs, i also cant eat or drink things with too much milk in them it makes me sick... so whats a good diet plan for me, what foods should i eat?

  1. soy shakes add water

    penut butter sandwitches

    soy bars and protien bars

    dark chocalte


  2. Its definitely good to eat some veggies and fruit and if you get sick of the taste of that try something new with them. Add some seasonings to them like salt and pepper...........steam them or fry them.....do whatever you want but make sure what your eating is a good mix and your not just throwing stuff together. However don't be consumed on the fact that you're "dieting" or whatever like that. Just try to have fun with it and see what good, healthy, and delicious meals you can make. And don't be afraid to mix it up a bit.

  4. breakfast: [at least] one serving of whole grains, one serving of fruits, and one serving of legumes [soy milk, soy yogurt] -- not limited to, but make sure you get at least that

    snack[s]: something with whole grains, whole wheat or soy, because you need to make sure you're getting enough protein [don't over do it], a fruit or a vegetable

    lunch: whole grains [maybe bread?] and a serving of vegetables

    dinner: whole grains, vegetables and legumes [if you haven't already had 2 servings]

    lots and lots of carbs!! just because you need to gain weight though, don't go heavy on fats
