Whats a good example of a president who contributed to democracy?

  1. Franklin Roosevelt's New Deal most likely prevented a revolution in this country.  Most likely it would have been a communist revolution.


  2. Oh, definately Jimmy Cah-tuh! He not only couldn't get our hostages released from Iran, but we had to wait until a certain day of the week to be able to purchase gas... not to mention he probably, almost single handedly ushered in radical Islamic rule ie the Ayatollah... :) HOORAY! And just think, Obama, ie, Carter 2 may get elected! :) Goodie... more freedom and justice for all!

    In all seriousness though, Ronald Regean is probably the best modern day example of a democratic republic's dream... he not only helped to overthrow the Soviets, but also INSTANTLY got said Iranian hostages released... among MANY other feats... I wish we could clone him somehow and get him back into office... :(
