Whats a good excuse to skip school?

ok ok i know what you guys are gonna say "you shouldnt skip school its bad" or whatever. but i almost never do this so dont tell me im never going to get a job, i get good grades and am a good student. so why am i asking this? well its international skip school day (http://hs.facebook.com/group.php?gid=4620199999) so i need a really good excuse to skip cause well my parents are the type of parents that even if a have a deadly desease i still have to go to school. any ideas? it needs to be really good but not too believable so i have to go to the doctor. or that my parents feel the need to stay home too.

Well, I am 41 but I remember skipping school many times.  I graduated with good grades, joined the military and graduated from college.

I remember one time my parents allowed me to skip -- and even took me.  It was to see the Space Shuttle launch -- the 2nd time ever!  It was really cool.

Only 2 reasons your throwing up or you have a high fever.. the school won't even let you in the door if you were in either condition and if your parents made you go the school would make them come and get you and take you home.

I suppose you could say a headache is impairing your vision that might work.

ooh.. i see.. well.. the best action? do your parents go to work? well if yess.. uhmm u can pretend to go to school but instead your just going to PRETEND.. hahaha.. its like.. when your about to enter the school's gate you tun back and then let your parents go away and return home..

Unless you are in the hospital, or have a family emergency, I would not know of a good reason to make up an excuse for skipping school, calling in sick to a job, or anything else.

There is a national, or international day for just about everything under the sun, and if you had to participate in these even a fraction of the time, you'd never have time to do what it is you have to do for yourself.

A better question is. "if I have to go on Yahoo Answers to have others help me find a good excuse, there must be no good excuse to begin with, since a valid excuse need not be made up does it"?

It is not international skip school day, September 20Th is international student day.

Good excuses to skip school they are as follows.1. You have won the lottery and you have to drive to pick it up during school hours. 2. One chance to meet Bill Gates (or other very interesting person), (he's going to give a seminar during school hours on how to be successful in life. 3.if you're in the hospital and it's a life and death matter.

You've already said that your parents are the type to not let you miss school even if you have a deadly disease. What makes you think you'd be able to come up with something *worse* yet convincing?

And yes, this is the homeschooling section. Not sure how to skip out of being at home.
