  3. heres a fav of mine

minced chicken, marinated in soy, white wine, tabasco, minced garlic, minced ginger, chopped chives/spring onions.

fill into wonton skins, and steam.

    enjoy!

  4. On the package there is a recipe in there.Usually ground pork, finely chopped green onions, water chestnuts

garlic, but check the package that is what I do.

  5. 1 beaten egg

    1/4 c. finely chopped onion

1/4 c. finely chopped water chestnuts

    1 tbsp. soy sauce

2 tsp. grated fresh ginger root

    1/2 tsp. sugar

    1/2 tsp. salt

    1/8 tsp. pepper

    1/2 lb. ground pork

    1 (4 1/2 oz.) can shrimp, drained

    40 wonton skins

    8 c. water

For filling, combine all ingredients except wonton skins and water. Position wonton skin with one point towards you. Spoon 1 rounded teaspoon of filling just below center of skin. Fold bottom point of skin over the filling. Roll up skin and filling, leaving 1 inch at the top of skin. Moisten the right-hand corner with water. Grasp the two lower corners of triangle; bring these towards you below the filling. Overlap the left over the right corner, press and seal. Use 20 wontons in soup. Wrap and freeze remaining.

Bring 8 cups water to boil. Drop wontons one at a time. Simmer, uncovered about 3 minutes. Remove and rinse; drain.

That would be really really great if you serve with noodle soup :) that was easy and good for cold weather also..

  6. Seasoned ground pork

  7. 8 oz. Tempeh, precooked grated or minced fine

       2 tbsp. Tamari

       1/2 tsp. Vegetable bouillon

        -dissolved in

       1/2 cup water

1/2 tsp. hot pepper sesame oil

       1 tbsp. Cornstarch (or arrowroot)

       1 tsp. Honey

1 cup Green onions, chopped fine

       1 cup mushrooms, chopped fine

       2 tsp. Ginger root, minced

1 pk Wonton Skins (3-inch size)

Cooking Seasoned tempeh filling in a steamed wonton skin

    1. Directions: combine half of the tempeh with tamari, water, oil, honey and cornstarch in blender and puree.

    2. Take the other half of the tempeh and mix with the vegetables, then add the puree and hand mix. Take 1 rounded tsp of this filling and place in center of wonton skin; moisten the outer rim and fold in half pressing the edges to seal.

    3. Steam for 8 min. serve with sweet and sour sauce.
