spyware terminator is free and has an antivirus ( clam av) included so you only need to scan once.

'Lavasoft Ad-Aware 2008 Free, 'Spybot - Search & Destroy', ‘Bazooka’ and ‘Yahoo Toolbar’

are free, what one misses the other one gets. You should install all of them.

There are several FREE pop-up blockers you can get, but you do not need those with an Internet Security program.

There are many good ones; I like Superantispyware because it is easy to update; the full scan can take a long time but you have an option to do a quick scan; get it here
