Whats a good gift for a 25th wedding anniversary?

If you want to stick to tradition, 25th is the "silver" year. Depending on how close you are to them, I'd say if they have lasted this long, they deserve a GREAT gift! :)

I bought my parents a nice silver platter because silver is the gift you are supposed to give.  And, I wrote a nice engraving on it.  You can also buy silver rings.  You can buy a silverware set.  you can buy silver goblets, silver candelabra, or you can just buy a bar of silver.  Anything goes.  If you are a L*****n couple, matching silver earrings is nice.
