Whats a good girft for a girl turning 18?

Info: My best friend is turning 18 and i don't know what to get her.

Is there something cool you might of liked when you were 18?

Or in general is there a really cool gift you've ever gotten?

Details: I'm already making her a scrapbook, which is nice but i also want to get her something AWESOME, and i dont know what to get her. It could be a bit formal since she's having her party on a yacht.

I think something small and meaningfull is the best way to go for 18ths, then pair it with something more generic bigger for presentation.

Eg. 1. A nice bracelet engraved with her initials, then put the box in an oversized martini glass (which you could also get engraved with "happy 18th [insert name here]" or something to make it more personal)  

Or you could always get her something practical and add some small token gifts to make it more unique.

E.g. 2. A nice hand-bag filled with hair accessories or cosmetics... gloves and a scarf... or something that relates to her personally.

(i.e. s*x-wax for a surfer, music sheets for a song she likes if she's a musician, fairy lights if she likes interior design, etc)

Also, you could try and do some research into what she actually might 'need'... does she have a jewelry holder? is her wallet in need of replacement?

Some other generic ideas could be:

~ A spa treatment, peidcure, tanning voucher, massage, etc. (you could make it a day trip for the two of you, where you buy lunch and go get beautified together, just add write it in the card)

~ Bake her some cookies & a hand-made card.

~ A voucher to her favorite store

~Alcohol :p (& a cocktail making book/martini glass.

~Make a themed "gift basket" with trinkets that remind you of her (keyrings, cheap jewelry, etc.)  or  (fooooood)    or    (cosmetics, hair stuff, body lotions)

~Perfume

how about a nice necklace or ring with her fave color, diamond, or birthstone (something affordable of course) but the scrapbook is a very nice idea. God bless!!! :D
