  1. A lot of us golfers have looked for years for that golf ball!!  So far haven't found it. But, there are a lot of good golf balls to play with that you don't have to spend $45-$50 a dozen. Shop around..discount store, golf shop, even Wal-Mart, a Costco or Sam's, a lot of places.  Titleist makes many different priced golf balls, and they're fine...so does Callaway...Top Flite...and for the most part these balls will be the ones better suited to the middle to higher handicapped golfer.  There's distance, spin....soft...all kinds.  Ask around when you're looking and I'll bet some one can find the right ones for you.  And, as far as hitting int straight.  That takes a lot of time on the golf range...practicing...and also taking lessons.

  2. I've tried a lot of balls over the last couple of months, maybe give nike one+black, taylormade tp black, callaway hx tour. Good Luck.

    Have a good one...

  3. "a ball will always go where it is hit"....The first thing my first Golf Pro told me.  He also told me "no matter where you think you are aiming your swing will dictate where the ball goes".  Distance and accuracy are the result of a solid golf swing.  The only way to build a solid repeatable golf swing is through lessons and practice.  mo silver bullets, No magic potions, No books or videos will do it ...it just takes work and dedication.

  4. For range means distance? There is a saying my Dad used quite often. " A good mechanic never blames the tools ". So if you want a ball to go straight you learn to hit it straight. If you want it to go far, you develop a swing which will build up power so that the ball will go far. It is proven that most golf balls travel similar distances.Pick the one you like best and don't fall for that Pro-V hype unless you are a single digit player and the question says you are not.

  5. the kind of ball you choose won't decide if it goes straight or not. That is up to the golfer.  If you want an all around good ball then get the Titleist Pro V1.

  6. Definitely the Titleist NXT Extreme.  It goes very straight and far while still being soft and controllable.  They are $25.00 a dozen.  Hope this helps.
