Whats a good health insurance company?

One that is affordable, has good coverage, good selection of choices? Fair, good quality, what do you recommend ?

For individual health insurance and if you are under 48 I  would look at Assurant, United Health Care and Blue Cross, in that order. If you are over 49 I would reverse the order.

State Farm is not a health insurance company but their agents can sell some health insurance, usually Assurant.

One thing i have found it that word of mouth means a lot. Whatever insurance company in your state, that everyone says is the best---Coverage, that is the one I will go with first. It depends on where you live--i feel Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Aetna
