Whats a good hospital In North Dublin ?

I was discussing with my mum having my baby in dublin because thats where my boyfriend is from and all his family is there.I live in south dublin and he lives here with his father. but I was wondering whats a good hospital in North Dublin. one of the best perhaps?

  1. A good hospital in North Dublin - or Ireland as a whole - is as rare as a mare's nest. I agree with the first poster, the Rotunda maternity hospital is  the one least likely to misplace your baby. The nurses are lovely there. As for the consultants ... just check that your ovaries are still in place when you're leaving.

    It's not a case of 'the best', more a case of 'the least worst'........

  5. Rotunda Maternity Hospital is the only one on the north side

    your other choices are The Coombe, Mount Carmel (private) or

    Holles Street, I dont know if Tallaght has a maternity ward? your G.P. should recommend where you go depending on where you live and what kind of birth you are hoping for but I think you can choose if you have private health insurance, the choice is yours.
