  1. my sister is turning 9!

    september is her b-day.

were taking her and 3 friends to club libby lu to get there make up and hair done. and after that we go to Gameworks. and have a nice meal and leave! u should let her invite a few friends or close friends and buy them best friends shirts and necklaces etc. u should let her throw a party at home and go to cici's pizza which is amaazing!

  2. Take her and a couple of friends mini golfing and then have a sleepover at your house. You can play games and do crafts. I had a party like this when I was nine and I loved it. Here are a couple sites to find games:

  3. does she like high school musical?? my lil sis whos 8 aswell had that theme she loved it and soo did all her friends and their parents

we had competations had singing the songs and also the children had to come as a charahcter from high school musical

  4. Let her go out to the mall with her closest friends (and you, of course), watch a movie if they have a theater, and then go out to dinner. She'll feel all grown up, just like Hannah Montana. =)

And I don't really like her either.

  5. Throw her a theme party. Rock Star. Just google rock star theme party and you will find TONS of stuff to buy that will make the party perfect. Find some mix CDs with the music she likes and maybe even buy a cheap little karaoke machine for the kiddies to play with.

  6. I think you would first need to determine -

    a. what your budget is?

    b. can you have the party at home?

Martha Stewart has some really cute ideas (a little more wholesomely themed than Hannah Montana...).

I think the spa-themed birthday party would be fitting for a girl who is into Hanna Montana (and presumable make-up / hair styling and that sort of thing?), but is also a little more old-fashioned?

If you did not want to have a bunch of girls at your house here are some other options for settings:

+ some salons have girls birthday parties and the guests get manicures and professional make-up

+ a hay ride / fall things - maybe apple picking or a pumpkin patch?

    + an aquarium or zoo

+ any childrens' museums in your area?

+ a garden / tea party (I went to a party like this hosted at a Topiary garden - the favors were little tea cups that the girls planted flowers in - really cute)

    + any Chuck-E-Cheese type place / arcade

+ a picnic or little hike at a nature center

    + a movie theatre

+ maybe a gym that has a kids room / gymnastics themed?

+ paint your own pottery place

    + ice skating

+ there are some indoor places in my area with tose inflatable bounce rooms / ball pits / slides

    Good luck!

  7. Have you ever thought about having a roller skating party? If your daughter likes to roller skate, then that might be something you could look into. Roller skating parties are fun. You can rent a place at the local skating arena and have a hannah montana pinata set up with all kinds of Hannah Montana things in it such as lip gloss, nail polish, etc. The things do not even have to be expensive. Or you can rent one of those bounce houses, if they have Hannah Montana.

  8. My friend had a birthday party in a hotel. It was fun she just invited 4 other girls, there also was an indoor pool so we could go swimming. I hope I helped! Wish her happy birthday for me!

  9. My daughter went to a bd party where she enjoyed it more than most - it was an at home party and they had a karoke machine!  The kids loved it.

If you were looking for indoor actvities, a lot of the ones mentioned are great.

I'd skip the Hannah Montana theme too -- I can't stand her either.

  10. take her bowling, and then for a nice party meal :)
