  1. Order him a BD cake from wal-mart because they also provide a personal BD cake for like one dollar which the baby can destroy on his own and what beautiful pics that make my grandson enjoyed that part of his party more than anything.  get a good piza deal order a couple pizza's have cake and ice-cream, buy the simple gallon jugs of juice which are usually $ 1.00 and somein different flavors. and enjoy

  2. A park is nice and inexpensive. He's only turning one so there is no point doing a big extravaganza. You said you live in an apartment. If you have a pool, why not a pool side party? Carry premad sandwiches and drinks down. It's so hot out that it would be nice to cool off in the pool. He would enjoy that as well.

  3. I always think a good massage a long pampering day, with a bottle of wine is always the best option. Or go all out and visit the nail bar on the way home too.

  4. A park would be great! Make some hot dogs and go to the discount bread store and get some bulk buns. Go to Wal-Mart and get those picnic size buckets (by the deli department) of potaoe salad or macaroni salad they are mabe $3.50 a bucket. Maybe a jar of pickles and get that pinic pack of mustard, ketchup, and relish. While you are there you could get his birthday cake or what's cute are those cupcake cakes. But what is what I do for my kids b-day and in the end it don't really cost too much. Good luck.
