This will be my first ipod purchase and it will be for walking/exercising. I would like to also be able to burn cd's on my computer and put them on it too. Nothing fancy, just want to listen to some music while I walk or exercise.

  1. I recommend the ipod nano, because it has great features not to fancy, light, thin and stylish while doing everything you need. Definitely go for the Nano. Also depending on how many cds you have a 4gb model should be fine.

  2. The classic is awsome! holds all my music, bunches of videos and plays games. BUT if your only looking for a mp3 player to go walking and dont have a large amount of music then i dont reccomend an ipod. while walking or exercise it could get droped or broken. get a cheep one at walmart, rather then buying one that cost alot and having it break. rca is very good, my dad and mom have one, it's been droped, stepped on, crushed, my dad had to glue the battery in because the side got steped on and the battery wouldnt say in lol that thing has been through h**l and it still works great! my mp3 players prob only last 5-6 months because i end up droping then or stepping on them, that one has lasted 2-3 yrs!
