lets see in my last track meet i got as a freshman in high school

Long Jump: 17' Feet

Triple Jump: 34'.25" feet

Whats a good Long Jump and a Good Triple Jump in High School?

  1. No. Not Varsity material, but okay, I guess. In middle school, the kids that you could tell would do Varsity jumped 16' 8", and the best kid once jumped 20' 11". In 8th grade. Freshman varsity should be jumping 20' at least.


  2. you pretty good for a freshman..keep training and you could be state champ one day

  3. i am in 8th grade and i jump 17'6 so i would tell u do at least get around 17'6. have you tried bicycling in the air when you are long jumping? it will add a few inches to your jumps.

  4. Hey, I'm a freshman too, and those are pretty good distances for a freshie

    My PR's are

    Long Jump: 19'3"

    Triple Jump: 40'5"

    Hey, when you land, do you slide into your landing, or try to slide to the side? If you land and just stand there when you land, that takes quite a bit of your jump. If you slide into it, it can add a whole 18"! It did it for me ;)
