In my experience, the best places to eat at are the ones that remind you of pleasant childhood memories.  Taste is strongly tied to memory, and it is for this reason that for many people, home-cooked or "comfort food" is such a favorite of diners today.  My personal favorites are all of the close-by mom and pop places:  great food at a reasonable price.

For dining out, the Olive Garden is good.  If you want a burger, get the Double Cheeseburger from McDonald's.   One of the best Pasta Bars was inside the restaurant at Marriott's Hotel/Motel (a couple of years back).
