  1. HHGREGG is the best place that I know of.

  2. Element is a third tier or 'junk' TV. See, http://www.hdguru.com/your-new-disposabl... If you think the Element is 'expensive,' you don't have a clue what new TVs are selling for!

The top two LCD brands, in BOTH performance and reliability, in 37", 32", and 26" are Panasonic and Sony. Next, but still very good quality is Toshiba followed, perhaps by Sharp and then Samsung.

If you buy cheap you will probably buy twice. If you can't afford a 32" in one of the brands I gave you, drop down to a 26" or wait until you have saved up some more money. And stay with a 720p/1080i resolution to save some money. In a set this small, you can't realistically see the difference between those and a 1080p.

  3. myer emco is a good specialty store that occasionally has some great deals.

  4. hhgregg has really good deals, and yes, best buy is expensive but it's usually worth it.
