Pick something that suits both of you. Personally I HATE cliche' dates and the thought of having to sit through an awkward dinner in a stuffy resterant, making chit chat and wishing my way out of there.

Make it fun! Find out what they like to eat and try and incorporate an interesting aspect of the date into it. For example, Tepinyaki. Not only do you get a good Japanese meal, you also watch the chef cook it all in front of your face and you have to catch (and sometimes miss) your food in bowls and things!

Afterwards go out for a few drinks somewhere and see a band.

Always, at all costs, steer clear of 'dinner and a movie', and also avoid going for 'coffee'. Coffee is cheesy and boring. Go out for a drink and have a dance!

Just make it fun and get creative!

when my boyfriend and I had our first date... he took me to claim jumper. But when the wait was too long, we went to the market and bought campfire food. After that, we went to the beach and had a bonfire. This was amazing because at the beach he took me to their were only a few pits for bonfires and each one was about 10-15 feet apart. After the bonfire, we went for a walk on the beach. After that he took me back to his place. (He was 26 and I was 19)

hmmmm..that depends on wether you want to eat or impress her by fancy. I always just kind of went on dates and not made food the theme. After a few hours you get a little hungry...and nothing is better than a local pizza shop that makes trays when it is fresh from the oven and you are standing there waiting for it. You know what I meen? You order 4 slices or 6 slices with extra cheese..your question however is dinner and then a night out. Go to a nice resturaunt and then go to an upscale bar.

first you'll need one of those plug that get their power from the cigarette lighter in your car.  then you need a projector, a dvd player, some speakers, extension chords, food, and a rest stop.  also, this works better at night.  

pack all the electronic stuff in your ride.  (don't forget a movie)  then go get the grub.  then go out of town til you find a rest stop that suits you.  set up your "theater" using a wall for a screen.  bring chairs and/or sleeping bag to keep you warm and enjoy the night.  

ps.  it might be better if the movie is short.  someone might be a jerkoff and call the cops.
