Try checking with your church first. Then you might also try to google/yahoo charities. There are many people in the U.S. that are desparate for a helping hand & not just a handout. There are also people that have had a problem with alcohol and/or drugs that truely want to start over but have very little means to do so. Sponsoring some such as this could change the very world in which we live. Pray about it, then look around you for the answers.
