I plan on using plain orville redenbaucher popcorn and I just wanted to know if there was a simple recipe of something i can add to the popcorn to make it taste yummy. Like something with salt and melted butter idk just give me a recipe if u have one. I would also prefer not to use a saucepan. Also once i tried it and the popcorn just got all soggy and soaked up the butter. Anyone have ideas?!

  1. Add a few drops of black truffle oil to the butter!  It's super good.  I've also seen a little sugar added.

Another thing I've seen added to popcorn that was tasty is nutritional yeast.  It's used by many vegans as a cheese substitute and is LOADED with b-complex vitamins.  You can get it at about any health food store.  It's GREAT on popcorn.

  2. Might I suggest just good old clarified butter.

Take a stick of salted butter (better if salted for popcorn) and melt it in a small sauce pan on very, very, very low heat.  Once all of it is melted skim off the top film with a teaspoon then decant the remainder into a small container.  You will have two layers in the container.  The top layer is the yummy clarified butter (all yellow).  The bottom layer can be discarded.

Spoon the top (yellow) layer over the popcorn and just love it!

  3. 1) Never add salt, or melted butter,

If you buy popcorn, buy a buttered version.

    2) A simple reciepe,

    Some shops can butter it.

    Hope it helps!
