Edit: The Sims 2 are good, but if she really gets hooked than you can wait next year for her next birthday, the Sims 3 is coming out.

Well you posted this in the Toys section and most 14 year olds have outgrown toys.  For a girl, I'd suggest clothes or a gift card to iTunes or her favorite store, depending on what styles of clothing she prefers.  Money is always good too, but if you think that is a bit too impersonal, then an American Express gift card is always nice.  You can use it almost anywhere.  Then after her birthday, or whatever she is celebrating, she can go on a shopping spree and pick out what she likes best.  Hope I helped.  Ã¢Â™Â¥
