Iv gone snowboarding 3 times at mountain high. im pretty good now i guess. i can go on all the runs. but im tired off borrowing my friends board. so i want to get my own. What is a good price to spend on a snowboard and bindings? Also what is a good brand to buy for both items? Finally where is a good place to buy it from? Big 5? Sport Chalet? Internet?

  1. If you have to ask, then you probably still are not expert enough at it, and ought to continue to rent , and then while on the slopes perhaps ask people this question, and then you can finally buy what you really know is good...

  2. to all these guys above, you can be intermediate if the 3 times is 3 weeks, ive only been like 5 whole weeks and i class myself as high intermadiate/advanced. You really ought to go to a shop for your first set up, to get properly sorted. theyll give advice there. Big stores often have cheaper prices, because of high turnover. Burton is a safe bet brand wise, ofering good models catering for your standard. im from uk but assuming around $400-500. Price is really about what you can afford to pay.

  3. not to be a jerk but you arent intermediate if you have only been three times. You're still a beginner. You'll need boots, bindings and a bord. You are'nt really gunna get anything descent until you spend about $400 on all of it.
