Whats a good restaurant/bar to visit after an outing at central park?

would like to take my date some place nice after an outing at central park. some place nice and casual with live music would be stellar! Any suggestions for anything nearby, or any other bars / places with lively music near central park?

  1. well the most famous is right in the park entrance at 68th street Tavern on the Green. They have specials and ala carte menus. Atmosphere and food are both good.


  2. Definetely the Boathouse. Don't waste your money at the Tavern on the Green.
