  4. If you want a really NICE (pricey) but spectacular meal, go to Eddie V's in Scottsdale.

  5. What part of Metro Phoenix do you live in? I can help you narrow down the choices depending on what city you live in.

In the mean time, check out the Westgate Area of Glendale, they have many great places to eat.

  6. there is a great mexican restaurant valle luna they have karaoke on fridays its so much fun and the menu is great and not that expensive. you can check out the menu online. I am planning to go there for my birthday I really like it.

  7. Given your age, I'd recommend Richardsons on 16th Street and Bethany Home. The atmosphere is young and hip, and at night it has more of night club/bar like feel (it's pretty loud) even though it's a restaurant. The food is a little pricey but really great and quite honestly, I doubt they would card you, although I'm not encouraging you to break the law! Then afterward you can drive down to the Biltmore Fashion Park and go to the Coffee Plantation and sit outside for coffee and dessert. They usually have live music on Friday and Saturday night.

  8. The old spaghetti factory in phoenix.

    Benihana's in Scottsdale.

  9. I'm not sure of your price range, but here are a few of my favorites:

Pizzeria Bianco - It's been said to be one of the best pizzas in the country, although there can be a long wait and they don't take reservations. You can't make substitutions though, if you don't like what comes on a pizza you'll have to pick it off yourself.

Mortons, Ruth's Chris, Capital Grille, Mastro's - all good steak/seafood places

The Melting Pot - romantic, can be a little $$$, you'll spend a good amount of time there too.

Garduno's - mexican food, more upscale than Macayos

Sapporo - Sushi, very trendy, very noisy, but also good

Durant's - good food, historical, but you'll have to fight the construction

Pasta Brioni - really good Italian

If you're looking for a less expensive place with great food, Oregano's has amazing food. Maybe not for a Birthday dinner, since it can be noisy, casual and have a long wait, but any other time I'd recommend it.

  10. Do you like Thai food?  Try Malee's. There is one in downtown Scottsdale and I think they have another location too. Bandera's is also good. It's near downtown Scottsdale.
