I'm pretty sure older movies are more scarier, like the Freddy Krueger movies and maybe Halloween (I haven't actually even seen that one), but I heard the movies from a while ago are better, like in the 80's I guess.

Movies now aren't really that scary. Like, the Saw and Hostel movies aren't scary. They're mostly just a lot of blood and gore.

Movies like Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer are pretty much a joke. My friends and I find Scream to be funny; That's how bad it is. Most movies from the 90's aren't that great.

Idk how old you are, but I'm 17 and this is what I think. If you're younger like 13 or something, you're opinion and what makes you scared will probably be different though.
