I don't want garnier or herbal essences unless you can convince me they work. But when I go to the salon my hair dresser tells me to stay away from them because they can cover up the damage but dont help in the long run.

I'm african/caucasion and i flat iron my hair a lot (no relaxers) so I need a shampoo and conditioner that prevents breakage well. what do you reccomend?

  1. I think Panteen Pro-V is the best.  I've used it for a long time and it always gives my hair a healthy look and feel.  It helps make it easier to manage my hair.  My mom uses it too for color treated hair. It might be  priced higer than some other brands, but it's definately worth it!  You could try to buy it on sale.  I know it doesn't go on sale all that often, but when it does I'll buy a bottle or two just to stock up.
