^ok a ripstick isnt a skateboard, its a ripstick

a good skateboard is differant for every person ill name so brands that u should try

griptape- mob, blackmagic

deck- almost, zero, mystery, baker

trucks- tensor, krux, venture

wheels- spitfire, bones, rictas

bearings- bones reds or any other made by bones if u got the cash

its personal prefrance u need to expiriment alittle to find whats the most comfortable to you. and u can really go wrong with any brands i listed, there all strong, light, dependable, and long lasting so go try some.

and element boards are very weak once u start trying some real tricks they break in a week or two, a normal one is already weak and then they put holes in one and go it may be weaker, but its now .00001 ounce stronger!!!

deck:sumthing that has a lot of concave wich is the curve in the tail and the nose,sumthin thats lightweight one with alot of pop...they come in different widths it depends on ur shoe size ask the owner of the skateshop wat width u shud get

trucks:get medium or high trucks...thunder,venture,silver

wheels:spitfire,momentum baker 51mm

bearings:swiss,speed demon,redz(the best brands)

hardware:any hardware will do but not plastic one

i wud prefer girl,element,enjoi,zero for a deck

A Good Skateboard Setup Would Be A Full Element Board That You Can Get From Skate Shops.But If You Are Going TO Be Riding Street Then You Want The Wheels That Come On It If Your Riding Ramps You Will Want Spitfires Wheels.

WHEELS-autobahn or spitfires

BEARINGS-FKD sawblades or bones reds

TRUCKS-destructos or ventures

GRIPTAPE-FKD sawblade or negative one

HARDWARE-shortys

WHEELS - sptifre plan B or autobahn .

HARDWARE - really doesn't matter but I have indy which is fine .

GRIPATPE- MOB or black magic .

RISERS- you don't need them , they just prevent pressure cracks and wheel bite .
