Whats a good snack for in between times in volleyball tryouts

I'm trying out for the volleyball team today and we have tryouts for 2 1/2 hours then we have a break for 30 min. to eat a snack then we have it again for another 2 hours. What would be a good snack to have?

  2. water and mabey an apple or a granola bar

    this is all our volleyball coach let us have

    also dont frink to much water you will get sick to your stomach and also dont eat anything really big

  3. Bananas or nuts, and water.

    Bananas won't cause you to cramp, and it is said that 2 bananas will give you enough energy for a 70 minute workout alone.

    Nuts are a good source of protein, to give you that energy to keep you going. But I would reccomend bananas first.

  5. Water is not the answer, what you need after your 2 1/2 hr tryout is to replenish your electrolytes, Poweraide, gatorade, will do that...then using water after that is ok. The body needs to replace lost carbs and water just doesnt do it. as for the food ...pb and j sandwich is good as are power bars rich in carbs and protein. This article should help

  8. fruits vegetables chocolate milk is actually really good for u before and in between games but just drink a small glass anything is good for u except for fast food in between games as long as u don't eat too much of it!
