Whats a good sound system i could put in my 1999 Saturn SC2.?

I'm lookin at spending no more than 1,000. And I want something that will really bump. Whats a good set-up?

Mystic is correct about different advice...but this is some useful sites that will show you some great items, without having to listen to a pushy salesman that just wants your money.I have had ALL different stereos,my personal favorite is Alpine,due to the easy settings you can adjust all speakers with,another nice unit is Pioneer,due to the many options to hook up different accessories easily...I stay away from names like:Sony,Panasonic,Clarion,Kenwood...et...

Check them out yourself...Only you can build a system to your own personal likings.

You are probably going to get 50 combinations on here on what others think is the best.  My advice too you is, go to your local car audio store, provide them with your budget, and listen to some of the combinations.  Often they will have many vehicles there that they are working on, ask to see them, listen to them, and base your ideas on that.  Remember make it your own, be different and rock away........
