Question:

Whats a good specialty for me?

i want to be a doctor ..ive been looking into radiology and i know its convenient cause alot of its at home.. i want to be a physician and im grossed out by lots of blood disgusting cuts or just anything slightly nasty.. ive also looked alot at orthopedic specially's.. but not a surgeon.

i would love to work at home but i wouldn't mind if i couldn't im not looking for a specific one so im not giving much info i just want to know some specialty's to look into also i want to do something with biochemistry or the bone structure

  1. I think you might like radiology more.  The ABMS certified boards that are more non surgical would be allergy and immunology, dermatology, internal medicine, medical genetics, nuclear medicine, neurology, pathology, radiology, and urology.

    You seem to be geared towards research so these might be best.  Out of your interests, I would suggest maybe radiology, medical genetics, or allergy and immunology.  As far as an undergraduate major...if you are REALLY interested in bone structure, you could try biomedical engineering, biophysics, or biochemistry.  Bone structure has A LOT to do with physics.  I am a biomedical engineering major and a speciality we have is biomechanics which deals largely with cartilage and bone.
