.I am a big guy( 6"1 250lb) would the Kawasaki Ninja be a good bike for me? I heard if you are as heavy as I am that those kind of bikes get Major slowdown, is that true?

Are there motorcycle classes you can take without having your bike license?

I plan to buy the bike in spring so I got a lot of time to make a descision on what I want? Would the ninja be a good bike for me or do I want something else due to my size?

And one last question.. Do they make leathers in the bigger sizes( I only see small riders on the road, no big guys)

Thanks,

Tomas

  2. iam 6 foot 230 get anything over 1000 cc and you should be fine i drive a 01 hd dyna 1600cc you will be good on 1000 cc

  3. well depends witch ninja id go with the 250r if your a starter, with your size it'll still top out at around 100 and would not be that cramped, another thing if you are starting you dont need to go fast, there are motorcycle classes you can take without having you bike license the msf, motorcycle saftey foundation, they provide helmets and bike all you must bring is gloves and shoes that cover above your ankle, here is the link: msf-usa.org

i think this would be a good set up for you scince your a begginer, i wish they still made 2 stroke street bikes
