Whats a good starter business ? where can i find cheap product to sell?

i want to open a store or on-line business but i don't know how to start ? and where to get the merchandise ? does anyone know ? is ebay lots a good deal ? thanks

If it saves people their time and you find a way to do their search for them then you have got a product!

Anything downloadable is also good, just put together something that satisfies a need. You will find it on the net of course so why won't they get it themselves? Because you might spend 30 days searching all over for what you can then put together as a huge product that to get, would take them also 30 days. If you sell it for $5 anyone would rather pay $5 to save 30 days. Then you can sell it 1000 times.

First step is to find a need, then see if you can fill it.
