Im going to Vegas for my 21st birthday. One of the nights my parents are taking me and some family members out for a nice dinner and Im looking for suggestions. I'd like a steakhouse or American cuisine. On or off the strip is fine. I dont want anything super expensive, but is still nice. Im thinking 25-35 dollars per person average. Right now Im contemplating Rosemary's resturant or George's three grills. Has anyone eaten at either of those places?

Please help me out with any suggestions

  1. Stack at the Mirage, very nice ambiance.  Not too pricey, hot rocks are fun, cook thinl sliced sirloin on the hot rock they bring out to you

  2. I'm not sure but I found this website:

    http://www.gayot.com/restaurants/bestof/...

Worth a try! Have fun and Happy big day!

  3. I personally love WolfGang Puck in the MGM Grand. It's exactly at your price range, and the food is delicious. The drinks are a mix of fun and traditional. The way they plate the food it so chic & their grilled vegetable salad is amazing! And they have a very cute set up with stained solid colored glass, and almost a deck like feeling. I think its young, fun, yet sophisticated.

  4. I too recommend Delmonico's in the Venetian.  It's an Emeril Legasse Restaurant.  Personally, I like his New Orlean's Fish House in the MGM Grand even better, but Delmonico's is perfect for the steak lover.  Very classy, nice atmosphere.

  5. The best steakhouse is a place called Delmonico's. I went there for my 21st birthday and was not let down. It's in the Venetian, and the food and service are both impeccable, but you have to make reservations right now, because it can be hard to get a table. It's a little more expensive, but well worth the cost.

I've found that all the restaurants in the Venetian were really good. This year I tried B&B Ristarante and Tao, and they were both good restaurants. Another good steakhouse is The Palm, which is in the forum shops in Caesar. It is also rather expensive though, but also rather good.

Las Vegas is filled with great restaurants, so I'm sure you will not be let down. A nice little lunch spot in that shopping forum is called Chinois. It's a Wolfgang Puck restaurant, and is moderately priced.

I've also heard that Charlie Palmer's is a good steakhouse, but have not tried it so cannot tell you from experience. It is not as much as Delmonico's or The Palm. Vegas is awesome, have fun!

  6. We went to a "steakhouse" that was in the Mall between the Luxor and Excalibur. It was great. Pricey, but very nice. The kitchen is open, so you can watch everything. Very good steak. (And I know steak---we raise our own here in kansas...)

The staff  was very attentive. My only complaint was that there are no refridg. or microwaves in Vegas hotel rooms...so we had to leave a massive amount of our meal on the table. They did ask if we needed a box, knowing that we didn't have anywhere to store it or reheat it. I really wanted to take and give a homeless person. (there are plenty...most probably aren't homeless).

Check out Freemont Street---the original hotels and plaza there. It's too much fun!  Neon Vegas at it's best! Leave the heels at home---cause you only want to kick those tottering on them over. Get a funnel drink and enjoy the show. And kick one of those teetering girls that are slowing everything down, down for me.

    Vegas is great....Happy birthday!

  7. LA STEAK(: OUTBACK(:

  8. Hi,  I recently moved away from Las Vegas and know of a few spots.  One local favorite is Austin's in the Texas Station Casino.  Its a cab ride from the "strip".  I'm not sure it will fit the budget, but it's delish!!  (try the chop salad!!) The  steakhouse in the Palace Station, casino is more affordable...and has a great salad bar available.  For a 24-hour option look into Becker's steakhouse, again it's a jaunt from the "strip" (2400 N. Buffalo) but, great faire!!  The Steak House inside the Treasure Island Casino, is a casual chophouse enviroment.  Finally, if you want to mix it up a bit, try "McCormick and Schmick's" in the Howard Hughes business park.  (@ Flamingo and Paradise)  They offer a great variety of fresh seafood and wonderful steaks at a reasonable prices. Good luck with your search!

  9. No, nither one of those two, the last steak house i ate at in Vegas was Gallaghers in New York New York, the most wonderful meal iv'e had in a long time. It was alittle pricey tho.

  10. Rosemary's Restaurant is not going to be in your price range

I'd suggest Outback Steakhouse.  It's on the second floor of the Casino Royale between the Venetian and Harrahs.  It looks out over the Mirage volcano.  That's a nice place in your pricerange.

    Happy Birthday!!

Hey you guys above me ---  Kelso said her price range is 25-35 dollars!! Wolfgang Pucks, Delmonico and most of the other steakhouses you are suggesting will be triple that price in the end.
