My power might go out at anytime due to this tropical storm. I am pretty bored and we are under a strict curfew. What are some interesting things to do when you might be stuck at home all day and night maybe without power?

  2. candles and flashlights and maybe do a puzzle? or find a good book, play with a pet, handheld games, ipod, portable DVD player, dance, sleep, write, ....uh....

i'd offer you my sun here, but we're gonna get a little of it as just rain, i'm in GA.

    *huggies*

  3. Time to reflect on things and appreciate the things you have and not take it for granted (in this case, the electricity power).

I would make sure my MP3 player/iPod was fully charged and left on charging until the power runs out.

That way it should last you through the day.

Otherwise, eat something and talk to others.

  4. A good thing to do is read or you could bake fresh cookies and eat them when the power goes out.

  5. sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep with the windows oopen

  6. s**y time lol

when the lights went out across america the birth rate went up massivly 9 months later

  7.   I always thought that jigsaw puzzles were a bit purile.  But my wife has spent the last 12-14 weeks trying to complete them.  She buys them from the charity shop - then gives them back.  Although 2 have been framed, and line up to take their place on the living room wall for a short time.

And even if you have no musical inclination, buy a cheap mouth organ.  For a few pence, you can have lots of fun.  If the kids don't recognise the tune, they will fall about laughing.

Card tricks.  I think everybody has learnt one somewhere along the way.

And if the power finally gives out, you can play I spy......'I spy with my little eye something beginning with 'D'.  Oh no, not Dark again.....

Hope things turn out ok for you;....

  8. Haha, it's storming here now, I would probably end up reading and snacking all night! I would say, invest in a portable dvd player!

  9. Call the Cat and the Hat! :]

Or actually being serious.. Invite a friend over and play board games or something. Read. Write. Draw. Paint. Make something. Take something apart. Stare at your feet.

oh and you can listen to music, light up candles and watch a movie, make a scrap book, ugh play board games, catch up on some studies, talk to us about this horrible weather you have there.

  14. Think of  some friends who are afraid of storms, and invite them over to ride the storm out together. If the power goes out you can all put your heads together and think of something to do in the dark to pass the time. If the air conditioning goes out, and it gets too hot, and you can't see each other anyway because the lights are off, you may all just want to strip down and get comfy. Use your imaginations.

  15. I get high

  16. smoke ganja
