Whats a good time for a 10 mile race?

Im running in a 10 miler tomorrow morning and Im aiming for around 58 or 59 mins.

What is a time that a top athlete would clock for this distance?

Your question is odd, even insecure.  First, are you aiming for 58 or 59 minutes.  In a ten mile race, one minute is significant, so I strongly suggest that you choose one or the other.  Second, if indeed you feel you can run 10 miles in less than an hour, then be content with that.  Consider it respectable, but it's far off what an elite runner would do, so why even compare yourself?
