  1. yeah, thats really good for a 7th grader, espcially in a small league. I'm in 8th grade, and I run a 1:04.25, which was by the end of the season.

in high school the top girl that won districts ran a 58, but that's amazingly good.

if you keep improving, you could easily be running that time by the time your a sophmore.

also, to qualify for districts in girls AA (what my HS is), you'd have to run a 66. AAA is 65.

    so thats really good!

    keep working hard! =)

  2. That is an excellent time. That is about what I run, and I'm on varsity track. (But I am a long distance runner.) If you are running that type of time in middle school, you can count on it that you'll be making a splash on the record books throughout high school.

  3. I think that's actually pretty good! Possibly better than the best in my school, we had a 7/8 team too.

  4. thats good for that age group. as you get into high school though they start running around the 1:01:00 or 1:02:00.  and in track cutting a few secondes off your time can be really hard work. you can go online and look up the 400m times.

  5. wow! my sister got 1:22 , but she's in gr.5. i don't do 400 myself. I prefer jumps...

  6. 1:04 is really good for seventh grade. Most 9-10th grades run that time.

  7. your time is perfect keep on training. You should be in 59-60 range by next year.
