  1. well, depends on your age and exp...

i started swimming in 10th grade and my very first timed lap was 33. by my senior year i was at 22.6 in free. 25s in fly, 29 in back. and breast....i think around 35

but exp will drop your time like crazy.

  2. Meters or yards?

And I'm assuming you mean freestyle... and I am comparing this time to a fairly competetive swimmer.

In yards (which I'm not familiar with), that is not a great time.

In meters, it is about average.

But, how long have you been swimming? How hard or often do you train? How old are you?

Depending on all the factors, 35 seconds could be a good time.

  3. well, by your swimming vocab, you dont sound like a year round swimmer, so 35 seconds for a 50 isnt too bad, not great, but average, depending on how old you are

if you are 12 and under, thats good

if you are over 13, thats average

if you are over 15, no offense, by try another sport

  4. I am 13 and I swim a 24.07

  5. Its not horrible.....but its not really good (Im assuming ur probably a teenager)

When I swam competitively, I only went a 29 in the 50. I wasnt a good sprinter in comparison to most on my team. I actually found my nitche as a distance freestyle swimmer. So maybe try competiting in some events you dont normal swim. The first time I swam the 500 free, I made state. I wouldnt have known that hadnt my coach made me try the 500.

    Good Luck :)

  6. assuming your a teenager and talking about freestyle that time is pretty slow.

    no offence.

i swim a 27 and that what my competition swims also.

but if your talking about butterfly, backstroke, or breastroke that time is average.
