  1. higher then i can junp i am 5'9" and my vertical sucks!!!


  2. If you can get at least your wrists higher than the top of the net..that is something for an 8th grader,but if you cant,i would put more practice on hand and bump setting and return bump passes. That's not to say to stop trying to get a better vertical leap.Gosh no. If Karch gave up on improving his vertical leap,no one would know his name today. He has an outstanding 3 foot and change vertical leap,and that is in the sand. (which is allot harder to get vertical than court)So keep developing vertical with jumping exercises and use the jumping techniques from both volleyball and basketball coaches. But realistically, I would try my hardest to be the best hand setter and bump passer if you are willing to give high school freshman team a try next year.You'll have better odds on making the team, if your vertical leap isn't that high.

      PS. Co-ed league net is almost 3 inches shorter than male league net.See rules for exact height.

  6. well i am 5'6" and weight 115 and am in the 8th grade and i jump about 18 vertical...they said that was about adverage so...
