Whats a good video camrea for my situation?

Im going to school camp soon and i want to video some of it ... I want a good camera

-Under 300 dollars (if it is possible)

-UH good qualitys such as mega pixels and zoom etc

- and i dont want it to be too big

You guys got any ideas???

A lot of small digital cameras have video capability.  The card in high capacity are reasonable in cost and easy to store in quantity.  With a card you can get up to 30 minutes of video.  One nice thing about them is you can do both still and video with a flip of the switch.  Most laptops today have a slot for the cards are can be easily copied.

Is that $300 NZ?  If so, you'll struggle - even a decent entry level camcorder is probably out of reach.  I'd look out for a used MiniDV camcorder.  "Megapixels" is an irrelevant number where camcorders are concerned, and zoom isn't that useful.
