Whats a good way to detox yourself, mentally and emotionally

i think i need a mental makeover for some reason, cause i feel so negative lately and a detox or a makeover should do the job i think

does anyone ever feel like this??

    Maybe go to a spa or salon and spend a couple of hours getting a complete make-over, and get a massage to relax. Maybe try taking  up yoga or a new sport. Start consciously trying to say things positive about everything instead of negative. Take an evening to pamper yourself and concentrate on you, take a bath with all the bubbles and bath stuff and just relax =)

  3. i feel like that sometimes. So for a detox i take time out in the morning to meditate and just be by myself thinking of good thoughts or imagining myself somewhere relaxing. You can also try yoga (have a cd player handy so u can play some smooth calming sounds while u do your yoga). Encourage yourself to be positive through the day and remember to keep good thoughts about yourself. Doing little exercises.. like stretching or minimum jogging helps u to feel good phisically.

    You can also give yourself a lil makeover in case u want to reflect how good u feel emotionally,and always tell yourself your beautiful. And if your having a bad day think of ways it cud be worse and b thankful that things are not as bad as it may seem. Dont make tough times bring u down but find somthing to do that makes u happy and lift ur good spirits. i know it can be hard to do sometimes but trust me it is worth it. live life to the fullest and be at ease with your emotions and mentality.

  5. The Bible. Lol, no Im kidding, go out jogging or something to releave the stresses that might be clouding your mind. That way you can concentrate on what things you want to change and why.

  6. s*x with a total stranger...or with many strangers...or with a lot of strange girls and maybe a bit older than you. Yeah, that's it.

  7. meditation, and a really good workout(lots of sweating! working out releases endorphins which make you feel good)

  8. My personal advice (take it or leave it):

    1.  Cut the fat:  Look at all those people you call friends, and ask yourself, "Would they do that for me?".  "In what way do we positively contribute to each other in this friendship/relationship?"

    The answer is, "No way, Xxxx would do that for me, but I'd do it for them."  Cut them out.  Same for second question.  They are wasting your time, and you are wasting their time.

    2.  Stop smoking if you smoke.  I used the patch and now I chew toothpicks like a beaver, but I don't smoke anymore.  (This was my billionth time quitting though, but I'm pretty sure I'm done with them).

    My runs are a whole lot better.

    3.  Assess your diet.  Cut the fat.

    4.  Do you exercise?  If not, start with a jog/walk 20 minutes, once a day for a 14 days straight...  jog a minute or however long you can, and then walk a minute...  BE ACTIVE...

    Holla when you're ready to join the circle of positivity...

    5.  Oh, and stop drinking soda!

  9. yep all the time. just eat healthy lots of veggies always does the trick for me! go for walks and stay fit. go outdoors a lot. listen to calming music. etc.
