Whats a good way to focus?

on something like spiritually, as in meditation? or something so you can be *in the zone* when it comes to the thing you have to do like a sport.

  1. Well most people meditate in the traditional manner, passively. And with this manner, mantras help me to meditate best. I hum the words until i get lost in their meaning.

    But unlike most people, I also do active meditation. Like when I'm working on forms. Meditation here, is derived from perfection. When I am about to throw a punch I imagine the essence of the strike. I dwell upon its perfect form and all the motions I have to make to complete the perfect form/


  2. Learn to relax, that's very important, otherwise you have tension in your muscles and you want to avoid that. Practice some quiet deep breathing which will open up the inflow of inspiration into your soul. Concentrate on the purpose at hand and let go of your sense of a separate 'self' - "lose yourself", become absorbed into the NOW moment, your moment of truth!

  3. ...clear your mind, deep breath and regulate your heart beat to a slower

    tempo...when all is one... focus the third eye on your task...

  4. Concentrate and try to keep an open mind and pure heart.

  5. Listen to music or tell people not to bother you if you cant go off by yourself.
