use the promote tab and grab a HTML code and add it to another site you may have that may have more hits. add the group link to your e-mail signature-

add it to craigs list-

becareful with the add feature- must have permission from all adds or you'll risk your group being deleted.

There are Yahoo groups designed specifically for owners to promote their groups. Here is a link to one that is very good and has over 6000 members. http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/Group...
